aboutus
There are over 600 kids in foster care in Stanislaus County.
Every number has a name.
Every name has a story.
The Kids Program is dedicated to making sure children throughout Stanislaus County feel loved. Our main focus is on supporting children in foster care and resource families as well as educating the public on how they can best support youth in the foster care system.

The Kids Program works directly with County Child Welfare to identify the specific needs of foster children and their families. With this list of needs, we have inspired hundreds of community members who have stepped up to help. Through this framework, we have been able to keep birth families together and children out of the system which ultimately increases the health of these kids overall.

Kits
Did you know there is a big need for textured hair care products for kids entering foster care?
We want to love all children well and have now made these items available to social workers to help
make a new transition smoother.
The response has been INCREDIBLE!
Clearly this was a need, and we want to help!

SPONSOR
a senior portrait session
At our recent Every Child Matters event, one of our panelists bravely shared that when she graduated high school she had no one to celebrate with. This just shouldn't be! We are working with local photographers to give a senior portrait session to graduates as a way to say
"We are so proud of you!"
For just $40, you can sponsor a graduate giving them a free portrait session, a digital copy of all their photos, 10 graduation announcements, and a framed 8x10 photo.
